The government offers grant assistance to help UK companies participate in overseas events through the Tradeshow Access Programme (TAP)
Partnering events and exhibitions are an essential part of most companies' export strategy but they can be quite costly. BioPartner UK works closely with the government to help ease some of the financial and administrative pressures and enable more SMEs to participate. As a UK Government accredited trade organisation (ATO) we administer grant application for UK SMEs wishing to defray some of the cost of promoting themselves overseas at certain designated tradeshows e.g. to purchase stand space, distribute marketing materials, or take up speaker slots.
If you decide that you want to attend a conference or exhibition with our help, you can access up to £2,500 to assist with your presentation or exhibition costs if you are part of a BioPartner UK delegation. Those currently supported by BioPartner UK and our Alliance Partners are included on our Discounts and Delegations page, with a link to further information on joining the next UK Delegation, including an application form for TAP funding.
Grant support is subject to the Department of International Trade's terms and conditions. Please read these carefully to assess your eligibility for support. For international tradeshows not supported by BioPartner UK please refer to our sister Trade Organisations or contact your DIT Regional International Trade Advisor
For further details about the process of applying for TAP funding, including timelines, please see the DIT's TAP webpage. Remember that in order to qualify for TAP funding for a key event, you must join a delegation managed by an Accredited Trade Organisation such as BioPartner UK.
